October in the Garden with a Recycling Scavenger Hunt

What a Daisy,
Tara Randall out did herself!
There was recycling in the garden with a scavenger hunt including fun items to keep, like slinkies and mini pumpkins to paint. Demonstrating to the kids how to find trash and were it should go, placing into the proper receptacle.
She planted pansies.
The kids spread the wildflower seeds from our DOT Wildflower Program
from our September Meeting.
Decorated mini pumpkins with paint markers, stickers, stencils and glitter glue.
She included a "Smoky the Bear" comic book and activity sheets, she picked up from the airport on her travels for the classroom.
This was an absolutely fabulous time in the garden!
NEW DAY We usually meet on the first Tuesday of the month (with the exception of January)
Please bring your drivers license and get checked in at the front office no later than 9:00 and we will all walk down to Ms Fuller’s class together.
We are usually done at 10:30 am
Co-Chair Deborah Hill & Tara Randall
Thank you for everyone that helped out. We are so blessed to have such creative hardworking Daisies. They alway push the limits on the extra mile to enhance a program for our projects. This Daisies quality is truly appreciated.
