Laurel Heritage Garden Club
Tuesday, October 21st

I (Katryn Taylor) popped in at 9:30am to finish emptying the dishwashers from our 10th anniversary celebration the day before, I encountered the Laurel Heritage preparing for their monthly meeting.
It was fun to listen and watch the
excitement of a club that has been around for 50 years.
I was observing our future ladies.
What lies ahead for our garden club looks pretty good.
It was a big contrast from the day before with their simple no fuss approach.

With their many years experience they have probably done it all. An adorable clever holiday sticker was placed on each plate as a greeting to guest.
I have seen this club in full fashion, when as a trustee I was in charge of the Donor thank you party 2 years ago. The 3ft tall flower arrangements and table flowers adorned the main table and centerpieces on tables, the flower arrangements were stunning. This is a talented group of ladies.
Today I went into the main meeting room to help the speaker with the projector and was awed by the simple elegance of the arrangements that adorned the tables.(above)
Taking all this in I see our future full of promising purpose.
Thank you to the clubs that have come before and whom we can learn from their expertise.
It's all about the fellowship as laughter and conversation was in full swing.
