Daisy DUDE'S
Behind many of our beautiful Marietta Daisies projects are the loving husbands, family members, and friends who generously give their time and support to help us bring our community gardens to life.
We would like to take a moment to recognize and sincerely thank these special
“Daisy DUDES” for their hard work, encouragement, and servant hearts.
From lifting heavy bags of soil to installing garden features, mulching, weeding, and cleaning signage, their acts of kindness help make our projects possible and our lives a little easier. Their willingness to step in and lend a hand reflects the love and support that strengthens not only our gardens, but also our Daisies community bonds.
A special thank you to:
Mike Slone, husband of Deanna, who took time on his wedding anniversary to clean our Marietta Daisies home signage.
Tara's husband, Tom Randall, who helped with heavy lifting and assisted with weeding at MMS this past month.
Katryn's husband, Bryan Taylor, who assisted at POP gardens by installing the butterfly house, helped move heavy soil bags into the stump garden area, and mulched the butterfly garden.
Josh Wilkins, husband of Taylor, who once again generously loaned tools for the installation.
Dani’s brother, Michael, who picked up and delivered soil from Home Depot to the garden site.
As another wonderful year of Daisies comes to a close, we want to recognize and celebrate the support of our loved ones who work beside us behind the scenes. Your kindness, hard work, and encouragement do not go unnoticed.
Thank you for helping our gardens, and our Marietta Daisies family continue to bloom.
