Daisies Out and About

Deanna and Katryn attended the Atlanta floral showcase held April 29 – May 3, 2026, at Phipps Plaza, where this year’s inspiring garden trends celebrated both beauty and sustainability.

The event was a fashion forward celebration of spring couture in bloom, created by Atlanta’s talented floral designers. Stunning displays blended floral artistry, garden inspiration, and creative design into a true feast for the eyes.

The 2026 season highlighted the theme of “wilding the garden,” featuring heat-resilient wildflowers and naturalized plantings designed to thrive in Southern landscapes. Also featured were “statement stems,” embracing simple yet striking floral designs, along with “scent stories,” showcasing botanicals chosen to promote emotional wellness and meaningful sensory experiences through fragrance.

Of course, no Daisy outing would be complete without wonderful food and fellowship. Our favorite part may have been beginning with dessert first, a delicious strawberry shortcake enjoyed before the meal!

We hope more Daisies will make plans to attend next year’s showcase. From a garden club perspective, the event offered abundant floral inspiration, creative ideas, and beautiful garden concepts that could easily spark ideas for future Marietta Daises projects and plantings.
