Daisy POP's and Daisy DUDE's

A Great Big Thank you!

Thanks to the Daisy DUDE's who came and helped in the garden today. Thank you to Bryan Taylor, Katryn's husband for financing part of the hard scape that was installed by Micheal (Dani's brother) and Bryan. Micheal dug a few holes in the really tough soil in the butterfly garden. We mapped out where to put the butterfly house. Micheal and Bryan will install the butterfly house in a couple of weeks. Thank you to Josh Wilkins ( Daisies, Taylor Wilkins) husband for the loan of the saw for the project today.

Thank you Daisy POP's who showed up on this beautiful day in March and made a huge impact on the Garden today. The herb garden was looking exceptional from our plantings last year with a few additions of Basil, it is thriving.

Take a bow, Elizabeth Buford, Maria Harbin, and Tracie Guckian for working on the

Stump Garden clean up and planting. Thank you for helping with the beginning stage for the preparation of the Self-Guided Walking Tour featuring a few of our projects.

The stump garden was looking great from the plantings that have wintered over from last years friendship plants.

All in All, our first year was a good year. Both gardens are showing resilience with the return of the perennial plantings from last year. Thank you for last years helpers.

A salute to Cathie Schafer and Martha Lee Sanders for donating the friendship plants from their gardens. We can't do this alone and it was so wonderful for Dani and Katryn to have this amazing turnout in the garden to push it's progress forward.

greetings from the Butterfly on the strawberry patch in the butterfly garden. Success!

We worked on the outline of the butterfly for better definition of the wing with a few color blocking internally, before we ran out of edging.

She is looking good with all the plantings popping their little green leaves out to say hello.

We had a coffee, water and doughnut break from the tailgate!

All your help was very much appreciated in the Daisy POP's garden, you are amazing!
