A Delightful Tea Party Celebrates Another Successful Year

Daisies are beautiful and the joy was flowing at the End of the Year Tea Party! 

Our Marietta Daisies Garden Club wrapped up another wonderful year with an elegant afternoon tea, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to Jodi Schneider for graciously opening her beautiful home for this special celebration.

Dressed in their finest tea party attire, members enjoyed an afternoon filled with friendship, delicious food, and reflection. President Patricia Silbiger shared a recap of the year's many accomplishments, celebrating the club's successful projects, community outreach, and the numerous awards earned throughout the year. It was a wonderful opportunity to recognize all that our members have achieved together.

Adding a personal touch to the celebration, members brought fresh flowers from their own gardens to create a stunning bouquet presented to Patricia as a token of appreciation. Additional blooms adorned a charming floral arch welcoming guests at the Schneiders' front door.

A special round of applause goes to the Hostess Committee: Susan Wing, Becky Kolher, Mary Ellen Leffard, Patricia Silbiger, and Martha Lee Sanders, who prepared an elegant assortment of tea sandwiches and traditional biscuits. The refreshments were beautifully displayed on handcrafted gold tray stands, lovingly built by Katryn Taylor's family, adding an extra touch of charm to the afternoon.

Each member left with a lovely keepsake: a succulent planted in a vintage teacup.

These delightful favors were thoughtfully selected by board member Laurie Bailey and served as a perfect reminder of a wonderful day shared among friends.

In accordance with this year's 250th Anniversary of our Nation, the afternoon concluded on a truly patriotic note as Jodi Schneider's granddaughter, a member of the 4th Grade Melody Makers Singers, led the club in a heartfelt standing rendition of the National Anthem. It was the perfect ending to a memorable celebration and a wonderful sendoff as the Marietta Daisies begin their summer break.

We wish all of our members a happy, safe, and garden-filled summer, and we look forward to blooming together again in the fall!
