Our Daisie, Amy Savage's grandmother is the lady on the far left, Mrs. O. Mobley. Amy's grandmother was PTA council President.
Amy's mother and uncle were raised in a home on Winn Street that her grandfather built. They moved from Atlanta to Marietta because of the better school zone.
Other notable mentions are Mayor Tumlin's mother is the other lady in the photograph.
Paul Sprayberry is in the photo and the man Sprayberry High School is named after.
This tribute was about 1952.
