May 2022 marked the end of the school year for Ms. Donlin's kids.
Summer projects are on the horizon and then back in the classroom in September.
Martha Lee and her group of volunteers Yvette, Kathryn C., Maria H. & Katryn
spent time outside with planting sweet potatoes and cutting back the large rose bush.
A few kids moved heavy bags of soil while others distributed them into the beds.

A few curious students came and helped prune too.
Rewards were roses that the few students passed out to classmates and teachers.

Summer projects begin soon and Martha Lee will be sending out emails to volunteers.
